    In the Digital Distribution of Annihilation, it had used various amounts of advertisement. Natalie Portman had mentioned the movie on Saturday Night Live, which is televised. The film was distributed between movie theaters with a later release on Netflix after 17 days of its theatrical release was a deal from Paramount. Although it does seem as if releasing it so early on Netflix wasn't inherently desired by the director of the film. Digital copies will also be made from Amazon and iTunes as well as to have the movie on DVD and Blu-Ray.


    Its distribution onto Netflix likely means for it to not just simply appease to a general audience, but to teens and young adults, who tend to dominate the populace of viewers for these companies. Meaning annihilation doesn't simply target elders or children when they made the deal with Netflix.
