Vallus has been designed to be a doomed man with no certain future for him anymore. He had once had much profits but all of that went away when his behavior which made him famous for taking huge risks for near planetary scaled operators was all destroyed when Eris, a mining and research planet was taking over by an infested organism, destroying any ability to retrieve escape the planet's demise. The lost in investments nearly led him into bankruptcy, however his shares have now grown all the more smaller as many of person had stopped doing business with him. He is supposed to be a broken, tired man (symbolized by broken, tear-like markings). A man the main antagonist of this story should have no issues controlling.
